3rd Grade In-Class Program
The San Pablo Bay offices will be moving to a new site. At this new site we do not have habitat accessable to students for field trips to the Refuge. During this time we will be offering in-class activities in the fall from the end of Sept through the middle of December each year.

At present, Mud Creatures and the Watershed Connection is our 1 hour hands-on in-class program for 3rd grade students. They will study the charateristics of bay mud, mud creatures and learn how to prevent pollution through a "Who Dirtied the Water?" activity. This program concludes with a demonstration of a watershed model where students will learn about the importance of wetlands to San Pablo Bay and their role in protecting these wetlands.

A 4th grade in-class activity will be piloted this fall on wetland habitats, food chains and food webs.

If interested, please contact the Environmental Education Intern at (707) 562-2473. Thank you!
